Lady Gaga Halts Sydney Concert After Dancer Falls on Stage

Global pop star Lady Gaga temporarily halted her concert in Australia after one of her dancers slipped and fell on stage during the performance, in an incident captured on video and widely shared on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.

The 39-year-old singer stopped the show while performing as part of her Mayhem Ball Tour in Sydney on Saturday night, after a dancer lost his footing on the rain-soaked stage following ongoing rainfall.

Fan-recorded footage, cited by People magazine, shows Lady Gaga rushing toward the edge of the stage during her performance of “Garden of Eden”, before instructing her team to pause the show. The music stopped, lights dimmed, and the audience reacted with concern as the situation unfolded.

Addressing the crowd, Gaga reassured fans, saying:
“One moment please… Are you okay? There’s been an accident on stage. Everything is fine, just give us a moment.”
She then went down to personally check on the injured dancer and shared a brief embrace with him as stage preparations resumed.

The dancer, later identified as Michael Dameski, reassured fans about his condition in a video posted on his Instagram account, confirming that he was doing well.

Lady Gaga announced the Mayhem Ball Tour in March, launching the tour in Las Vegas, before traveling across North America and Europe, with stops including New York, Chicago, London, and Milan.

In September, the singer revealed plans to expand the tour in 2026, adding new cities and dates. The tour is produced by Gaga herself in collaboration with her fiancé, Michael Polansky.

The tour is set to resume in February in Glendale, Arizona, followed by performances in Boston, Washington, D.C., and Montreal, as well as her highly anticipated return to Madison Square Garden in New York and Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
